He Can Be So Irritating Sometimes

After talking to my friend's husband, I asked Erbe, "Ba, pano mo naaraman padangat taka?"

He said, "Malambing ka."

"No, seriously, how do you know? Kung may maghapot saimo ano simbag mo?"

He said, "Nabubuhay sia para sako."

Huh? Seriously? "What the heck do you mean by that? Padangat ta ka pero hello?!?! Ano ka air?!"

He started laughing then and he ventured with another answer, "Pig-blog-blog nia ako."

WTF?! "Ano?!"

He continued with another answer, "Nilulutuan nia akong spaghetti?"

WTF? TF?!
"Ha? Dai daw ako naglulutong spaghetti para saimo, para daw sako saka ki nene!"

He stared at me for a second -- as if he was really considering the absurdity of our exchange. Then he started laughing and then he asked, "Ha? Di dai mo plan ako padangat!"

Frustrated and vastly irritated with him, I got out of the bed, muttering, "Lintek! Kung spaghetti lang palan katapat mo, lulutuan takang sarong banyerang spaghetti saaga!"

*sigh. And the conversation ended on that note.

Yes, he can be so exasperating sometimes.
