Should Have Kidnapped Her

She was pounding on the shoe store's glass doors.
She caught my attention because I think she's barely six months old.
She should be inside her crib.
She should be cuddled and showered with kisses.
It's a sad sight.
We see these things everywhere, but it doesn't make it okay.
I wanted to get her though. I always do.
I was just afraid I'd get in trouble if I do so.
But damn was I freaking tempted.
