Apparently one or more of the three are accused of additional crimes which they are yet to stand trial for (presumably Jason Owen is not since there is no court order restricting publishing of his name). Note that the court order also prohibits any mention of Baby P's potential siblings, and also prohibits mention of the reason why their names are being withheld.Do you agree?
If you really want justice to be served, delete all mention of their names until all proceedings are finished. Otherwise, they can argue that a fair trial isn't possible and have the charges dropped.
Let's allow them to get the maximum jail sentences they can -- then you can publish their names and photos.

I don't get why they deserve protection of their identities. These people shouldn't have rights, they took all of Baby P's away, so why they should get it is beyond me. I'm glad their names and pictures are out because even if justice isn't served and the don't spend long enough in jail, it is my hope that someone will recognise them and give them everything they deserve. These bastards will want to stay in jail when everyone finds out who they are. They are safer in jail. I reckon that they are sentenced to stand in a sea of mothers and fathers of young children. I'm sure they wouldn't survive.
I think the safest thing would be to remove the names and pictures temporarily. You can then put them back after the trial. [Their legal defence will try anything to get them off the hook, no matter what they've done]. As you know, their defence is now trying to argue that the mother should have round the clock protection and anonymity when she comes out. It's absolutely disgusting and sickening, if you ask me.

I think the only reason why they want to protect their identities is the woman's other children and how this whole thing will affect them. People might decide to avenge Peter's death by hurting/kidnapping his siblings.
I agree with the sentiments of everyone regarding Baby P. In no way am I devending those evil bastards, but there is a reason WHY they're names/faces must not being shown. The mother and the step-father are due to stand trial next year for another horrific crime. Their legal team will argue that because of their id's have been published they will not get a fair trial. Please do not id them, as we want to get them convicted for this other crime.

I say publish their pictures and names as many places as possible. So what if their lawyer gets them off on a technicality...how long do you think scum like that would survive on the street once their identities are known? There is more than one way to achieve justice!!

Please remove. What do you gain by showing this? Knowing who they are isn't going to stop the cruelty of other children thats happening all the time around you. Denouncing people who you think are abusing their children will. People only really want to see who they are to gossip or to put a name/image to someone who they can (quite rightfully) blame ( assuming that they did do it, although pretty much all of the evidence so far suggests that they are guilty.)
I find it unbelievable that social workers and a 'so called' GP did not pick up on this abuse! Of course it is unbelievable that human beings can do this too anyone, never mind a small defenseless child, but, why did the abuse go un-noticed by professionals (or so called).
Not only should photo's be shown, social workers and the GP should lose any right to work within their profession again.

I am a mother and it sickens me to read about the abuse of baby P. I am also training to be a social worker as I would like to work in child protection and try to prevent abuse of children. Do not equate social workers with the perpetrators of this crime - front line social workers who have to go into disfunctional families like this( often at great personal risk) tried to get baby P out of there - but they were stopped by people higher up the chain. I'm afraid it all came down to money. The world is an evil place and there are evil people intent on harming children. Social workers are NOT evil - they are doing a difficult job which many people wouldn't touch with a bargepole.

To the person who asked why there weren't charged with murder - they were, the JURY found them all not guilty of that charge, hence the lesser charges of causing or allowing the death of a child. There is to be a third trial regarding one of the other children, hence their names are again withheld
